I started teaching in 2010 in Redford. I got my undergrad degree from EMU and my Master’s from WGU. I have been working in IB schools since 2017. I started in Ann Arbor in 2021. I have taught kindergarten and young fives in Ann Arbor.

I am drawn to IB schools because they provide a chance for students to think independently and collaborate with peers. Students are more connected and successful because they have voice and ownership over their learning. 

I grew up in Ypsilanti, and live in Belleville with my husband, our 4 kids and dog. We spend our family time camping and watching the kids in their sports marching band, cross country and baseball. When I have downtime, you can find me reading a book and drinking coffee.
