I would like to introduce myself. My name is Don Poole Intervention Specialist here at Bryant Elementary School. It's my pleasure and honor to work with students and families this school year!  My role is to work in harmony with parents, teachers, staff , and administration to find ways to best support students.  A few ways I will support students are: 

• Check students' academic records
• Monitor students' academic progress
• Connect families with resources to benefit the student and family
• Manage behavioral issues
• Positive support plans for students

I attended Eastern Michigan University where I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminology with a concentration in Social work.  I also have a degree in Public Human Services.  I come with 26 years of experience working with students, 22 of those years working for Washtneaw County Juvenile Court and Children's Services.
