This is my 30th year of teaching in the Ann Arbor Public Schools and my 18th year here at King Elementary. I am proud to be part of such a wonderful community! I am a product of the Ann Arbor Public Schools, where I was inspired by my first grade teacher at Lawton to become just like her! I left Ann Arbor briefly to attend Western Michigan University and later earned my master’s degree from Marygrove. I am a life-long learner and always take advantage of opportunities to further develop myself as an educator.

     I have a wonderful, supportive husband and two children, Garrison, almost 25 years old, and Madie, 23 years old. Garrison and Madie are graduates of Western Michigan University, my alma mater!

     I am a BIG fan of U of M and Detroit sports, and you can find me in the Big House every home game in the fall! I also enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, camping, and traveling.
