Hello!

My name is Jillian O'Leary! I am very excited to be part of the King Family! I attended Michigan State University and Eastern Michigan University for my undergraduate degree and Wayne State University for my masters degree in special education. This will be my fourteenth year teaching. Previously, I was a teacher in Wayne-Westland Community Schools teaching fifth and sixth grade talented and gifted students. 

I have a wonderful husband, James, of twelve years. We have two amazing children, Emilia, who is 9 and Emerson, who is 4. Emilia will be entering fifth grade here at King Elementary this year. She loves to figure skate and skates on a synchronized skating team. Emerson enjoys learning how play hockey and playing with transformers. He will start young 5's in the fall here at King too! 

I love spending time with my family and traveling around our beautiful state! We love to go up north and enjoy spending time at the beach. My husband and I also enjoy running. We have completed many half marathons, but our favorite is Bayshore which takes place in Traverse City. I also have three cats, Paco, Taco, and Shilo, who love to run around and create chaos at home.
